Our new PaverTiles allow homeowners to have a true brick floor in just about any room in your home.

In the past if homeowners wanted a brick floor, they had to install full thickness brick or clay pavers, but their size and weight made it next to impossible to remodel and existing floor. Now an interior brick floor is as easy as installing wood or ceramic tiles using Pine Hall Brick’s 3/8″ or 1/2″ PaverTiles.

Installation of Paver Tiles

PaverTiles install on standard under layment like 1/4″ or 1/2″ cement board using thin-set mortar and standard tile grout. Once the cement board is anchored to the plywood subfloor, a notch trowel is used to spread thin-set mortar on the cement board. The brick tiles are placed on the thin-set mortar with 1/4″ to 3/8″ joints and allowed to set-up for a few hours. The joints are the filled with grout using a grout bag or pastry bag. The joints are tooled with with either a sponge or brick tool and then cleaned with a diluted brick cleaner and brush. The brick tiles can also be left uncleaned creating a popular mortar smear effect.

This creates a durable and slip resistant brick floor. Sealing the brick paver tiles with either a invisible sealer that leave the warm natural look of brick or a visible sealer that creates a wet glossy appearance is recommended as sealers help protect your brick floor, while also making it easier to clean.
