Hood Herring Architecture is a Wilmington-based firm featuring the talents of T. Tilgham Herring and John C. Hood. According to Hood Herring, this French Country Courtyard home was inspired by 18th century French hotel plan. That style of architecture often featured small courtyards preceding a larger courtyard where rooms were located. We especially love the recessed front door and inviting arches along the front entrance of the home. Hood Herring chose Pine Hall Brick’s Stratford Rose from our Tidewater Series.
